Key Responsibilities for the Stockperson/Cartpusher
Your tasks will focus on maintaining store efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer convenience.
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks and transport items to the sales floor.
- Restock shelves and displays, ensuring proper placement and accurate pricing.
- Organize and maintain backroom inventory for easy access and efficient replenishment.
- Collect and organize shopping carts from the parking lot and store entrances, ensuring carts are always available.
- Ensure the store and parking lot are clean and free of hazards.
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Minimum Qualifications for the Stockperson/Cartpusher
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 pounds.
- Attention to detail for accurate stocking and cart collection.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
