We are seeking a dedicated CAP 3 Associate to join our team in Gatineau, QC. In this role, you will be responsible for unloading trailers, pulling pallets to the sales floor, and assisting in the processing of merchandise, all within a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities for the CAP 3 Associate
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring efficient merchandise flow and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move items safely and efficiently.
- Sort, label, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor, ensuring products are properly tagged and priced.
- Stock shelves and set up displays, arranging products neatly and according to company guidelines to optimize sales and customer accessibility.
- Maintain and organize the backroom, ensuring inventory is stored safely and systematically for easy access and replenishment.
- Perform regular inventory audits, utilizing inventory management systems to track and manage stock levels accurately.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide support as needed, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Minimum Qualifications for the CAP 3 Associate
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Ability to work overnight shifts, typically from 10 PM to 7 AM, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to handle and move merchandise, including lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate stocking and inventory management.
- Basic computer skills to utilize inventory management systems effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly backroom and sales floor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications for the CAP 3 Associate
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment, particularly in inventory management or stocking roles.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
