About the Job

As a Part-Time Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and friendly checkout experience for customers.

This includes accurately handling transactions, providing assistance with customer inquiries, and ensuring the Front-End Department is clean, organized, and stocked. Your efforts will contribute to the overall success of the store and enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities for the Cashier

As the Cashier, you will oversee various aspects of department management. Your responsibilities include:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers by assisting with inquiries and ensuring a friendly checkout experience.
  • Transaction Management: Accurately process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
  • Front-End Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Service Desk Support: Handle customer service desk tasks, such as refunds, lottery sales, and bottle returns.
  • Team Collaboration: Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth store operations.

Minimum Qualifications for the Cashier

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
