About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated Analyst to join our Category Team in Mississauga, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer insights to support category planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities for the Analyst, Category Team
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at supporting category management and driving business performance.
- Analyze sales and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within assigned categories.
- Develop and maintain reports that provide insights into category performance, including sales, margins, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and supply chain, to support category initiatives and strategies.
- Assist in the development of category plans, including assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform category strategies and maintain competitive positioning.
- Support the implementation of category initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and timelines.
- Provide analytical support for ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.
Minimum Qualifications for the Analyst, Category Team
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey insights and recommendations.
