As a Clerk Grocery Night Crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our grocery aisles are fully stocked, clean, and organized for customers each morning.
This position involves working overnight shifts to replenish shelves, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold the store’s standards for quality and presentation. Your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and store performance.
Key Responsibilities for the Clerk Grocery Night Crew
As the Clerk Grocery Night Crew, you will oversee various aspects of department management. Your responsibilities include:
- Stocking and Merchandising: Replenish grocery shelves and displays efficiently, following company guidelines to ensure product availability and visual appeal.
- Inventory Management: Assist in ordering, receiving, and organizing stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures.
- Store Maintenance: Perform backroom and retail floor maintenance, keeping work areas clean and presentable as per company requirements.
- Customer Service: Although primarily an overnight role, maintain a customer-focused attitude, ready to assist early-morning shoppers as needed.
- Compliance: Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety policies, and other corporate programs and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications for the Clerk Grocery Night Crew
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Communication Skills: Above-average oral and written communication skills.
- Independence: Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight hours.
Preferred Qualifications for the Clerk Grocery Night Crew
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience: Previous experience in a retail or grocery setting is an asset but not required.
- Team Collaboration: Willingness to participate in the training of junior staff and work collaboratively with team members.
