In this position, you will be responsible for implementing end-to-end data architecture projects, encompassing the entire process from comprehending business requirements to delivering scalable and optimized solutions that improve operational results.
You will design and implement strategies that support high-performance, reliable, and secure data platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to prepare, analyze, and implement data pipelines and architectures for large-scale distributed environments.
Key Responsibilities for the Data Architect
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implement comprehensive data architecture projects, from understanding business needs to delivering scalable solutions that enhance operational outcomes.
- Design and implement strategies supporting high-performance, reliable, and secure data platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data pipelines and architectures for large-scale distributed environments.
- Modernize and migrate existing data infrastructures, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives.
- Advise clients on modern data strategies and best architectural practices, providing actionable insights and long-term solutions.
- Define a data-driven vision and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders to support business goals.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering expertise in data architecture and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security, and governance while aligning data solutions with business strategies.
Minimum Qualifications for the Data Architect
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and distributed data processing systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and their data services.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications for the Data Architect
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in modernizing and migrating data infrastructures to cloud-based platforms.
- Knowledge of industry standards in data security and governance.
